The

Museum of Art of Almeria is a public museum dedicated to painting, engraving and photography.

Due to bombings during the civil war and the destruction of the area, two new buildings were built divided into two sections: The Doña Pakyta Art Museum and Espacio 2.

The first exhibition held was held on the works of Joan Miró and was expanding its variety to other masters of painting and photography such as Joaquín Sorolla, Juan José Romero, Manuel Falces and exhibitions of Francisco de Goya.
